Dr. Prince Jain is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Mechatronics Engineering Department at Parul University, Vadodara, India. He previously worked as an Assistant Professor at Chandigarh University, Mohali, Punjab, India, from August 14, 2021, to June 29, 2022, and as a Teaching Assistant at Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University), Chandigarh, India, from July 30, 2015, to July 29, 2020. He received a Visvesvaraya Ph.D. Scheme fellowship to complete his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) dissertation at Punjab Engineering College (Deemed to be University) in Chandigarh, India. He qualified the CBSE-UGC NET test in June 2015 as a JRF and Assistant Professor, as well as the GATE exam in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017. He recieved the Academic and Research Performance Award for the academic year 2022-23 at Parul University in Vadodara. His expertise also extends to the design, simulations, fabrication, and measurement of various antennas and absorbers, with hands-on experience in tools and technologies such as Vector Network Analyzer, Function generator, and Spectrum Analyzer. His research activities and collaborations have resulted in 38 Scopus indexed publications, and he has contributed as a peer reviewer for prestigious publishers, including IEEE, IET, Springer, Elsevier, IOPscience, Hindawi, MDPI, SPIE, Wiley, PIER, Emerald, and PLOS. He currently serving as an Academic Editor for Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Hindawi and PLOS ONE Journal. He is serving as a Topical Advisory Panel Member for Micromachines & Materials (MDPI). His research interests include Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Optimization techniques, Metamaterial Absorbers/Antennas at RF, THz and Visible Frequencies, Material Science, Nanotechnology and Biomedical signal processing.
