MYCOLOGY LABORATORY

At the Centre of Research for Development, Parul University, Vadodara (Gujarat), the Mycology laboratory was set up during the month of March 2020 with the purpose of developing mycological practices especially for rapidly assimilating and learning, research processes applicable to fungal strain improvement for high level production of extracellular cellulases. Also, the lab is intended towards finding second-generation biofules such as bioethanol. Alongside, the laboratory is working for developing early phase identification techniques for mycoses caused by a group of molds as well as criminal investigations based on mycological evidences. The laboratory is well equipped with the facilities for performing routine microbiological practices by using traditional procedures and automated equipment.
